Fragrance information:

Sergey Gubanov launched Rain in 2016 — and it was a brilliant move. A unisex fragrance belonging to the floral, green, and water families. The fragrance belongs to the floral, fruit, and green groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of musk can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. Released in perfume extract.

The sillage is moderate — present, but never overpowering. Apply 1-2 sprays to skin and 2-3 sprays to fabric for best results. It settles in and stays — the longevity is genuinely high. Brand country — Russia: a place that truly knows its way around a great scent. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Rain is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of Sergey Gubanov is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract sets the depth and body this composition needs.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Floral, Fruit, Green and Musk. The palette also extends to Whiteflower, Earthy / Mossy and Aquatic. Within olfactory families the composition sits in Floral, Green and Water.

At the opening of the pyramid you sense crisp leafy opening notes: Grass and Pear.

In the central layer you notice Lilac, Rose and Violet holding a harmonious floral direction.

The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Floral, Fruit, Musc and Vegetable with each one in a clear role. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms High points to a sustained drydown presence.

Taken together Rain sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best understood in wear.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Gosh, what a delight! This scent is simply gorgeous. It's light, with a touch of sweetness, yet so transparent it feels like breathing fresh air. It brings to mind old estates where fruit trees grew and lush lilac bushes with countless tiny flowers. And, of course, roses - the very ones now called old garden roses. Its sillage is light, almost weightless, but by evening a pleasant musk remains on the skin, without any harsh notes. It's so soft and cozy! On the warm musky base, delicate floral petals are still perceptible. The fragrance is long-lasting, though it quickly settles close to the skin. I love applying it to my hair - a slight movement of my head, and a delicate mist of floral notes appears around me. Pure joy!

A fruity-floral scent, with watery accents, makes you feel like you're standing in a garden full of pears and ripe apples. But, honestly, that feeling quickly fades, leaving only bitterness. The sillage, of course, is interesting, but it lacks depth. It's as if it's all just a fleeting memory of something more significant ))))

Oh, I didn't find any mushrooms here either, but maybe that's for the best. The scent is floral, very pleasant, and I didn't really sense any rain as such. Unless it was a rain of fantasies

The fragrance, honestly, isn't impressive. There's a freshness of greens and flowers, sure, but it doesn't save it. The opening with pear seems too cloying, and then comes the lilac which is just overpowering. Mushroom? Didn't notice it at all. It seems to just create some kind of background dampness, like you're in an abandoned garden after rain. All in all, a complete disappointment
