Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of H&M Florious is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of H&M comes through in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette supports the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Whiteflower, Fruit, Wood and Floral. From a family perspective the composition sits in Floral and Fruit.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the opening appears as one connected movement with a creamy-floral mood: Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Melon, Peach and Sandalwood.

The deeper layers are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Floral, Fruit and Wood without random overlap. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together H&M Florious holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The melon scent is truly refreshing, as if you've just stepped out of the shower with a gel that left a light trace on the loofah. Overall, it's nice, but, honestly, there are fragrances that are much more memorable and vibrant

Too sweet and watery, just cloying. The melon here clearly overdid it with its banality. This scent didn't appeal to me at all. Honestly, it's like it's not even from this line

In this new series, I always expect real masterpieces, and when among these plump bottles there's just an ordinary compote, it upsets me. Although the scent itself isn't bad, it's pleasant, but it reminds me of something bath-like with peach notes
