Fragrance information:

Have you ever tried a fragrance that smells like a culinary experiment? Smell Bent is a brand that is not afraid of humor and bold names.

Meet Brussels Sprouted, an eau de parfum launched in 2010 and created by perfumer Brent Leonesio.

This masculine fragrance has a very strong sillage that is sure to get noticed.

Character and Style

Brussels Sprouted belongs to the Aromatic and Woody fragrance families. It is not merely a green scent—it is a true burst of freshness and naturalness.

Thanks to its high concentration, the perfume lasts on the skin for several hours, while its trail remains noticeable even on clothing.

Perfect for the warm season, when you want something light yet memorable.

The Perfumer and the Brand

Smell Bent is an American niche brand that proves perfumery can be fun and accessible.

Its founder, Brent Leonesio, creates fragrances that are not afraid to be unusual while remaining high-quality and easy to wear.

Brussels Sprouted is a vivid example of this approach: the name intrigues, while the fragrance pyramid surprises with its harmony.

How to Wear It and Who It Suits

This perfume is made for confident men who value originality. But trust us, women are also delighted by fragrances that draw compliments!

If you are looking for something similar, take a look at Brocard Wild Strawberry and Field Herbs, Marc Jacobs Splash Gardenia, and Al-Rehab Sabaya—they share a similar green soul.

Key fragrance characteristics

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The composition is built around two key accents: Green accord and Musk.

Green notes unfold with a fresh, juicy character, like freshly picked greenery, while musk adds warmth and sensuality, giving the fragrance depth and lasting power.

Together, they create a “greenhouse freshness” effect—unexpectedly cozy yet bold at the same time.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

wet greenery, notes of damp earth and woody bits - it all sounds a bit strange. I don't know, maybe someone finds it interesting, but for me, it's just a game. I can't say it's anything serious
