About Smell Bent Disco Nap

Imagine a party that lasts all night, followed by a sweet languor and a touch of nostalgia in the morning.

That is exactly the feeling embodied by Smell Bent Disco Nap, a unisex fragrance released in 2012. It belongs to the oriental family and has a very strong sillage.

This perfume is for those who are not afraid to stand out and appreciate irony in every note.

This unconventional fragrance was created by perfumer Brent Leonesio, founder and creative director of the Smell Bent brand. His philosophy is perfumery that is not afraid to be funny.

In a world shrouded in seriousness, Smell Bent has been proving since 2009 that fragrance can be playful, daring, and exceptionally high-quality. Disco Nap is vivid proof of that.

Character and scent profile

Smell Bent Disco Nap is a gourmand oriental fragrance with a rich, multifaceted composition.

Rather than unfolding into classic top, heart, and base notes, it presents a single, dense accord. The leading roles are played by almond, coconut, ambergris, vanilla, and musk.

This combination creates a sense of comfort, warmth, and gentle sweetness, with a distinctive Smell Bent twist.

Incredibly cozy, sweet, and vanilla-forward, Disco Nap is perfect for discos and nightclubs, dancing, and having fun until morning.

However, it also works beautifully for everyday wear: its trail warms you in cold weather and lifts your spirits.

Thanks to its eau de parfum concentration, the fragrance offers excellent longevity, while its sillage lingers for a long time.

Description of the composition

The composition of Smell Bent Disco Nap is built around a single accord, without a clear division into top, heart, and base notes. At its core are almond and coconut, which lend it a milky-sweet character.

They are complemented by vanilla, adding a soft, comforting touch. Ambergris brings warmth and sensuality, while musk creates a clean, slightly powdery trail.

All the notes intertwine to form a rich, enveloping fragrance.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Coconut cream, bitter almond, and too much sweet vanilla. At first, it seems pleasant, but it quickly becomes irritating. It's not for me at all
