Description of the composition

The composition of Mercury No̱ 80 is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The style of Sober is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Wood and Amber without random overlap. Background accords such as Spicy, Marine and Mineral enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

As soon as the fragrance opens you sense invigorating sunny top notes: Grapefruit and Marine accord.

In the central layer you detect Jasmine, Laurel and Laurelia keeping a sensual jasmine direction. At drydown level the structure settles through Amber, Grey Ambergris, Guaiac wood, Oak moss and Patchouli, extending a deep woody trail.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Aquatic, Whiteflower and Spicy. It also reaches into Green, Balsamic, Animals and Wood.

Overall Mercury No̱ 80 sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best judged on skin.
