Fragrance information:

The year 2010 gave us 12 Eau D'Epices Tauer Perfumes. A unisex fragrance from the spicy and wood families. Perfumer Andy Tauer left a distinct mark on this composition. The fragrance is presented as eau de toilette.

The sillage is moderate — present, but never overpowering. It settles in and stays — the longevity is genuinely high. Behind this fragrance stands Switzerland and its rich perfumery heritage. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of 12 Eau D'Epices evolves as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Tauer Perfumes is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette sets the right density and pace of development.

From the first breath you detect spicy sparkling opening notes: Cinnamon, Clove, Coriander and Mandarin.

In the middle phase you meet Frankincense, Iris, Jasmine and Orange blossom holding a silky white floral direction.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Powdery, Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In longevity terms High suggests confident staying power.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Spicy, Citrus, Balsamic and Floral. The framework further includes Whiteflower, Ambery and Wood.

Overall 12 Eau D'Epices holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth

Some strange potion, full of spices. It's hot, warming, but at the same time spicy. In its development, you can feel some white flowers, very subtle, and green vetiver. But all of this sounds so elegant that I can't quite figure out if I actually like it
