Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Vata is built as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of The Body Shop is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Wood, Spicy, Floral and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Balsamic, Gourmet and Musk.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a warm spicy mood: Cedar, Cinnamon, Geranium, Ginger, Jasmine, Licorice and Myrrh.

The deeper layers are read as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Musc with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Wood and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

The scent is sharp and spicy, definitely not for everyone. It's rough and rugged, most likely only suitable for those who like something special. It feels unisex, but I think it leans more towards a men's cologne from the past. Personally, I don't like it 😒
