Alluring Fig — a fig fragrance by Theodoros Kalotinis

Alluring Fig is a unisex fragrance by Theodoros Kalotinis, launched in 2021. The composition is presented as an eau de parfum and belongs to the Eau de Parfum Collection.

This perfume is for those who enjoy soft fruity-green accents and gourmand warmth without being strictly associated with a traditionally masculine or feminine scent profile.

At the heart of the composition is fig, one of the most expressive notes in modern perfumery.

Its creamy-fruity character is supported here by fig leaf and vanilla, creating an impression that is juicy, green and gently dessert-like at the same time.

Thanks to this combination, Alluring Fig feels comforting without being heavy, while its natural sweetness remains easy to wear every day.

The pyramid and how it develops

The stated composition does not provide separate top, middle and base notes: the brand and database list a blended combination of fig, fig leaf and vanilla.

It is therefore best understood as a cohesive olfactory accord in which fruity pulp gradually merges with green freshness and a soft vanilla nuance.

At the opening, Alluring Fig can be expected to reveal a distinctive fig mood — rounded, slightly milky and filled with the impression of ripe fruit.

Fig leaf adds a cool green nuance to the composition, preventing the sweetness from becoming flat.

Vanilla completes the scent with a delicate gourmand touch, making it smoother, warmer and more enveloping.

Positioning and wearability

Alluring Fig was created as a unisex perfume, making it especially appealing to those who choose a fragrance based on mood and personal style rather than gender labels.

Its fruity, green and gourmand accents belong to the corresponding note groups, while its olfactory families are listed as fougère and fruity.

Its sillage is moderate: noticeable within your personal space, but not intended to fill an entire room.

This character makes Alluring Fig a convenient choice for the office, walks, dates and relaxed daytime occasions.

In cool weather, the vanilla may feel cozier and denser, while in warmer seasons the green fig leaf can highlight the composition’s fresh side.

Exact recommendations for the number of sprays on skin and clothing are not provided for Alluring Fig.

Start with a moderate amount on skin and assess the development after a few minutes: the intensity will depend on the temperature, your skin type and how noticeable you want the fragrance to be.

On fabric, the eau de parfum may last longer, so apply it carefully and first test the material’s reaction on an inconspicuous area.

The perfumer and the brand’s style

The composition was created by Theodoros Kalotinis.

His name is closely associated both with the brand and with its creative direction, so Alluring Fig feels like a personal perfumer’s work built around an instantly recognizable natural-gourmand motif.

Theodoros Kalotinis is a Greek fragrance brand offering masculine, feminine and unisex scents in eau de parfum, eau de toilette and perfume or extrait concentrations.

Alluring Fig fits this concept well: it is versatile in presentation yet has a distinctive central accord that is easy to remember.

Who will enjoy Alluring Fig

This fragrance is worth trying for fans of fig compositions, green leafy nuances and soft vanilla accents.

It will appeal to those looking not for a sharp fruity perfume, but for a rounder, calmer and more tactile scent with a feeling of cleanliness, a fresh garden and a light dessert.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The vanilla ruins everything here. I had only just started getting into the combination of fig and green leaf and was looking for something in that direction, but I got green vanilla instead. Without it, this would have been an excellent dry fougère
