Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Pompom Green Tea unfolds as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of TonyMoly is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Solid perfume supports the depth and body this composition needs.

As soon as the fragrance opens you catch invigorating sunny top notes: Bergamot, Lemon and Mandarin. Exactly these 3 notes shape a burst of citrus freshness that anchors the first impression immediately.

When the opening settles you detect Green Chord, Green Tea, Lotus and Osmanthus keeping a harmonious floral direction.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Amber add depth to the backdrop.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Green, Drinks and Floral. The palette also extends to Ambery, Musk, Whiteflower and Fruit.

In summary Pompom Green Tea holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The smell is not bad, of course, but too simple. Lemon and green tea - that's all you feel. If it were an alcoholic fragrance, maybe it would play differently, but as it is - it just lacks richness 😒
