Description of the composition

The composition of New Matter is built as a living composition, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Tromborg is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

Without strict stage separation the notes arrive together with a soft-dry woody mood: Patchouli and Vanilla. In this case 2 notes sound as one coherent layer, creating clear woody framework that feels seamless.

The middle and base stages are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Wood and Spicy forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Wood and Gourmet. From a family perspective the scent maps to East.

In summary New Matter holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best understood on skin.
