Mugler Angel Eau Sucree: A Sweet Delight from a Legendary Brand

Immerse yourself in the world of Mugler with the fragrance Angel Eau Sucree — a delightful eau de toilette that reimagines the iconic Angel collection.

Released in 2014, this perfume has become a coveted addition for fans of gourmand fragrances, offering a lighter and more effervescent version of the original.

Mugler, a brand born from the unrestrained imagination of Manfred Thierry Mugler, continues to surprise with bold creations, and Angel Eau Sucree is a vivid example of how traditions meet novelty.

Fragrance Unfolding: From a Berry Start to a Vanilla Finish

Angel Eau Sucree opens with juicy chords of Berries, delivering an instant feeling of freshness and joy.

As it develops, the fragrance reveals a heart of airy Meringue, adding sweetness and tenderness.

In the base, warm notes of Vanilla and earthy Patchouli reign, creating a cozy and long-lasting finish.

This journey from fruity playfulness to deep gourmand harmony makes the fragrance ideal for those who appreciate multi-layered scents.

Positioning and Wearability: For the Bold and Romantic

As a feminine fragrance, Angel Eau Sucree highlights confidence and playfulness, attracting attention with its middle sillage — not too intrusive but expressive enough to leave a pleasant trace.

In the Eau de Toilette format, it offers a lightened version, perfect for spring and summer days, dates, or everyday moments when you want to add a touch of sweetness.

It is recommended to apply to warm points of the skin, such as wrists and neck, for optimal development, and to clothing moderately to preserve freshness.

Fragrance Creators: The Geniuses Behind the Scenes

Created by talented perfumers Dorothée Piot and Thierry Mugler, Angel Eau Sucree reflects their joint vision: a blend of innovation with the classic gourmand aesthetic of Mugler.

Thierry Mugler, the founder of the brand, brought his fantastical DNA, while Dorothée Piot added modern accents, making the fragrance accessible to new generations.

This collaboration has strengthened Mugler's reputation as a pioneer in the world of gourmand fragrances.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Mugler Angel Eau Sucree is a virtuoso blend of Berries, Meringue, Patchouli, and Vanilla, creating a multi-layered gourmand symphony.

The berry opening offers juicy freshness, like ripe fruits on a summer breeze, transitioning into airy meringue, which adds sweetness and lightness.

In the heart of the fragrance, patchouli brings depth and an earthy nuance, balanced with vanilla, whose warm and cozy note completes the composition with a long-lasting trail.

This is the perfect mix for those who love when a fragrance plays on contrasts—from a vibrant start to a gentle finish.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. At first I didn't quite get it, but when I tried the sample, I realized how good it is, and now I'm dreaming of a full bottle. It's such a berry, sweet Angel, with notes of blueberry and blackberry. It's girly, but at the same time very stylish. The scent is long-lasting and leaves a gorgeous sillage

This version is just super. The berries are sweet, and the cream adds a touch of softness, with vanilla and patchouli at its base. The scent is light, yet very long-lasting and intense

Sweet berry cream. I totally agree, this one really evokes a lot of emotions. The scent is incredibly alluring, like a treat, and it's much lighter than the original

The perfume is just terribly cloying. You wouldn't call it sweet, but this annoying cloyingness is just overwhelming, like you're eating something too sweet that seemed normal as a kid, but now you just can't stomach it. Growing up with scents like this is a real challenge. And honestly, this smell is clearly not for everyday use, but only for some special occasions you'd rather not recall 😩

Sucree is my absolute favorite interpretation of the classic Angel. The fragrance is truly beautiful and vibrant, it's captivating and gives a feeling of femininity. You can sense notes of meringue, ripe berries, vanilla, and patchouli in it. A very delicious and alluring scent that leaves no one indifferent ))

The scent is sweet, bright, and feminine, but there's something too intrusive about it. It lasts a long time on the skin, even though the pyramid seems simple. The development, of course, is pleasing, but in the base, the chocolate patchouli seems to overpower all other notes. I feel a certain sadness from this combination, I don't know, maybe it's just not for me 😔

Who would've thought I'd turn out to be a true fan of Angel fragrances! My first encounter with the classic Angel was just awful. My aunt adores it, and one day she generously sprayed it on me. I almost passed out! It was a real perfume nightmare. But thanks to Natalia, who left her comment on Aromo about the Sucre version, I decided to order a sample. Now it's my main dream for this year, along with three other Sucre versions. The scent is simply AMAZING! It has the same familiar Angel base, but the perfume has become lighter and fresher. It's like airy meringue with a berry, slightly tart mousse and a beautiful, slightly astringent base. It's on my wrist right now, and it feels like it's working some kind of magic on me!

For true connoisseurs. Berry dessert with vanilla meringue. Patchouli adds a touch of seriousness. The bottle looks gorgeous. Although, honestly, it's not always comfortable to hold it in your hand when you spray 😅

I absolutely adore this fragrance! It really brings back memories of carefree times, not exactly childhood, but more that feeling of lightness and joy from those days. So cute and awesome! Some say it's too sweet, but for me, it's simply the scent of happiness

Wow! This scent is just incredible, so sweet and playful! You usually don't just talk about expensive perfumes like this, but it's genuinely awesome! I asked my boyfriend to buy it, and now I'm enjoying this wonderful smell too! I wear it every day. Patchouli doesn't bother me at all in summer, quite the opposite, it gets warmer and even a little chocolatey, and in winter it feels kind of earthier ))

The fragrance turned out to be too sweet and a bit cloying for summer. It left a sticky feeling on my skin, which I really didn't like at all. So I decided not to use it anymore 😅

I regret not buying it at the beginning of summer! I could have enjoyed a gourmand scent all summer. It's more for personal pleasure than for flirting. Felt like myself. Tomorrow I'll stop by Rive Gauche and spray again.
