Discover Vanessa Tugendhaft Or Jaune

Or Jaune by Vanessa Tugendhaft is a precious composition released in 2012. Created for women, it belongs to the Oriental and Floral fragrance families.

In its eau de parfum concentration, it unfolds with particular richness and longevity.

Brand History and Perfumer

Vanessa Tugendhaft is a young Belgian designer, now based in Paris, who comes from a dynasty of renowned diamond merchants.

Her first collection was inspired by the radiance of precious stones. Or Jaune was created by perfumer Alice Dattee, who masterfully brought the idea of luxury and refinement to life.

Character and Sillage

Or Jaune has a very strong sillage—this fragrance will not go unnoticed.

It is perfect for evening outings and special occasions when you want to surround yourself with an aura of magnetism and sophistication.

Thanks to its woody-musky base, the composition feels sensual and lingers on the skin for a long time.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Blackcurrant here seems to get lost among the delicate scent of rose and bright citrus notes. This smell makes me nostalgic for summer days when everything felt light and joyful. It really smells very natural, but at the same time leaves a feeling of something fleeting, as if that summer can't be brought back
