Description of the composition

The scent of Oud Noir is shaped as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The style of Vertus comes through from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Citrus, Fruit, Green and Spicy. The palette also extends to Ambery, Floral, Wood and Animals. At family level the composition sits in Wood.

In the first seconds you meet invigorating sunny first notes: Citrus accord, Grapefruit, Green Apple and Plum.

In the central layer you meet Ambergris, Clove, Cyclamen, Geranium, Iris and Magnolia holding a harmonious floral direction.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Animalistic, Citrus, Floral and Fruit with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Musc, Wood, Powdery and Amber add depth to the backdrop. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.
