Description of the composition

The scent of Spicebomb Night Vision is built as a layered story, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The style of Viktor & Rolf is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Fruit, Spicy, Citrus and Floral. It also reaches into Aromatic, Gourmet and Wood. From a family perspective the composition sits in East and Fern.

From the first breath you meet sparkling citrus first notes: Apple, Cardamom, Grapefruit and Green Mandarin.

In the heart you detect Black Pepper, Clove, Geranium, Hot pepper, Nutmeg and Sage keeping a cinnamon-nutmeg direction.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Fruit, Wood and Spicy add depth to the backdrop.

Taken together Spicebomb Night Vision reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent is sharp, you immediately feel cardamom with bitter citruses, there's even a bitterness in the mouth. It invigorates and creates a feeling of audacity, more aggressive than the usual version 😏

Well, it really is green. These citruses with lavender and spicy notes with pepper create a somewhat brutal, but not overly appealing, sense of freshness. For me, it doesn't feel luxurious at all
