Fragrance information:

The Sake Lemon Flower fragrance by the American brand Voluspa was launched in 2014. It is an eau de parfum created for a unisex audience.

The fragrance belongs to the Citrus and Fougère families, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate freshness and sophistication.

The Story of Voluspa

The Voluspa brand began in 1999 in a home kitchen, where husband-and-wife team Traci and Troy Arntsen created their first candle.

Today, it is a renowned American fragrance house that embodies a passion for scent and design.

Sake Lemon Flower is a vivid example of its philosophy: unusual note combinations inspired by travel and nature.

Character and Sillage

This unisex fragrance has a very strong sillage, leaving behind a trail of freshness and warmth.

Thanks to its intensity, the fragrance is well suited to evening outings and special occasions when you want to stand out.

Its citrus-fougère character makes it versatile for spring and summer.

Description of the composition

Sake Lemon Flower opens with a vibrant duet of Lemon and Lemon Blossom. At the heart of the fragrance, a playful note of White Wine unfolds, lending the composition a lightly intoxicating elegance.

The base is woven from delicate Lemon Blossom and sweet Coconut, creating a soft, comforting trail.

This combination evokes a sun-drenched Mediterranean coast, where the air is filled with the scents of citrus groves and light wines.

The fragrance is perfectly balanced: from freshness to sweetness, from spice to softness.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Lemon with coconut, and even with wine - that's a combo that really hits your nose. You can definitely feel the sourness, and the coconut isn't shy either. Honestly, the scent didn't make a strong impression on me, but overall it's quite acceptable 😅
