Fragrance information:

The world first encountered Truly Patchouly by Voronoi in 2015. By character, a unisex fragrance drawing from the chypre and wood families. Conceived and brought to life by perfumer Eugenia Kalinina. In eau de toilette — and that's all it takes to fall in love.

It settles in and stays — the longevity is genuinely high. Russia is where this fragrance comes from — and it shows. Truly Patchouly Voronoi unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Truly Patchouly is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Voronoi is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Balsamic, Ambery, Earthy / Mossy and Wood. The palette also extends to Floral. At family level the scent maps to Chypre and Wood.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a soft-dry woody mood: Amber, Ambergris, Oak moss, Patchouli, Peruvian Balsam, Sandalwood and Vetiver.

The deeper layers are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Balsamic, Wood, Amber and Mineral forming a compact and readable structure. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

Overall Truly Patchouly reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.
