Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Merveilles & Nuit evolves as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Weil is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.

At the opening of the pyramid you catch spicy sparkling top notes: Black Pepper, Cinnamon and Hot pepper. These 3 notes set voluminous spicy depth that is impossible to miss.

At the core of development you notice Jasmine, Orange, Rose and ylang-ylang keeping a creamy tuberose direction. In the base the line is anchored through Patchouli and Vanilla, shaping a earthy woody-resinous trail.

The stylistic positioning is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Spicy, Whiteflower, Citrus and Floral. The framework further includes Wood and Gourmet. From a family perspective the scent maps to East and Spicy.

In summary Merveilles & Nuit reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This is a winter story. With languid flowers and spices. Ylang-ylang sounds simply beautiful! It's perfect for cold and damp days, unfolding with a creamy floral scent. Otherwise, it might be too intrusive
