The composition of Black Velvet unfolds as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The style of Yardley is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Floral, Fruit, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Mineral enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.
