The mimosa in this scent feels very natural, without unnecessary frills. At first, it delights with a bright, sunny mood, like a spring day, with a light honey nuance that quickly fades. Then comes tranquility - the scent becomes more subdued, with subtle minor notes that seem to whisper of something deep. I have a large bouquet of dried mimosa at home, and as soon as a rainy wind blows, this scent immediately comes to mind, reminding me of Modest Mimosa
Tuberose is definitely noticeable here, and honestly, it's not my favorite. But the mimosa powder softens it a bit, so it's not too intrusive. Overall, the scent is very feminine. The sweetness of cream, white flowers, and peaches create a classic combination that always pleases
The fragrance is really interesting and worth attention. When I first saw its pyramid, I thought: who the heck mixed all this? Or did the perfumer just not get enough to eat? So many spices in one bottle! But despite that, on me, I mostly only smell pepper, which constantly comes to the forefront. In the background, there's suede, and all of this is enveloped by sweetish strawberry with a light creamy undertone
Some kind of sweet syrup, darn, came out. I didn't like it, too intrusive and cloying. Gourmands might enjoy it, but for me, it's just too much. It's like chewing a dessert, not a perfume
This scent didn't impress me at all. After wearing it, I got a severe headache. The combination of mint and geranium turned out to be a real challenge for me. Alas, it's a disappointment
The fragrance reminds me of Extravagance d'Amarige, but with a sharp and cold opening. At first, you can feel mimosa, and then only currant berries, which are softened by delicate rosehip petals. At first glance, it seems like a light perfume that would be ideal for summer heat, but in reality, it's better to wear it in spring or late winter. In the heat, it might reveal less pleasant notes of grey amber combined with a currant accent. So, if you want the fragrance to fully unfold, choose a cooler time of year )
I'm giving it 4 stars, and here's why: the scent just didn't work for me at all! First of all, this is purely my personal perception, and it doesn't align with common opinions. The perfume turned out to be so long-lasting that washing it off my skin was a real challenge, even with a loofah and shower gel 😅 "A cheerful spring, summer scent"? Clearly, perfumers and I have different ideas about summer! Yes, oranges are noticeable, but they don't evoke any associations with warmth for me. I once stumbled upon a "life hack" online that suggested using citrus zest to deter cats from doing nasty things. Well, this perfume smells exactly like that to me - like an attempt to mask the smell of cat urine with citrus! That's it, enough! I washed it off, but it still wouldn't leave me for a long time ))))
