Identity and History of Yohji Yamamoto I'm not going to disturb you Femme

The fragrance Yohji Yamamoto I'm not going to disturb you Femme, released in 2017, is part of the I'm not going to disturb you collection from the legendary brand Yohji Yamamoto.

Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto, who founded his fashion house in 1981, brings to perfumery the philosophy of avant-garde, deconstruction, and devotion to black, making this fragrance an intellectual and mysterious challenge to traditions.

In Russia, it is often called "Bother Yamamoto" or "Disturb Yamamoto," reflecting the playful and provocative name that perfectly fits the brand's creative approach.

This perfume is presented as perfume water, providing longevity and depth, ideal for everyday and special use, which highlights its versatility and emotional strength.

Positioning and How to Wear This Fragrance

Female fragrance I'm not going to disturb you Femme has a medium trail that leaves a subtle but noticeable trace without being intrusive, making it a complementary and elegant choice.

The recommended dosage on skin is from 2 to 3 sprays, allowing all facets of the composition to unfold without overdoing it; for application on clothing, data is not available, but on skin, it reveals itself optimally, adapting to your individuality.

The fragrance is suitable for cool seasons, such as autumn and winter, thanks to the warm base notes, and is ideal for evening outings, intellectual meetings, or moments of solitude where elegance with a hint of mystery is required.

It belongs to the floral, musk, and woody families, creating a multifaceted character that balances between tenderness and strength.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid in Yohji Yamamoto I'm not going to disturb you Femme begins with top chords of angelica (angelica) and artemisia (wormwood), which provide a fresh, slightly bitter green start, reminiscent of a cool breeze and awakening the senses.

In the heart of the fragrance, fragrant tobacco and osmanthus unfold, adding floral sweetness, honeyed tones, and a light smokiness, which soften the initial sharpness and create a warm, intimate atmosphere.

The base consists of vanilla and musk, forming a warm, enveloping, and sensual foundation that lasts long on the skin, leaving an aftertaste of coziness and mystery.

This composition belongs to the note groups green, floral, gourmand, and musk, providing a complex and memorable olfactory experience that evolves over time.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Every time I'm convinced that trying perfume in a store isn't always the right approach, and it's better to choose it for the season. It's nice that I bought it now, in a rainy autumn. On a cold day, a rich coffee scent unfolds, and I don't detect tobacco. There's something medicinal, herbal, and if someone doesn't like such notes, there are plenty here. Vanilla is somewhere in the background, which I really like. There's no femininity in the scent at all. Instead, you feel a cold self-sufficiency and introversion, like Yohji's beloved black. It suits a specific mood and, of course, the weather. A very cool scent 😍

The fragrance is interesting, of course, but you need to be careful with it. It's better not to overdo the amount. One spray - and that's enough. The slogan "I won't bother you" sounds tempting, but it's just a trick. If you overdo it, others won't be very comfortable, and I myself will only feel a little uneasy

Last year, I kind of quickly walked past this scent in a store, not giving it much attention. Now, when store tests don't thrill me, I decided to order a bottle anyway. I wonder what's really hidden inside: coffee, chocolate, tobacco - and, of course, a bit of brutality too!!! I used to be thrilled by Yamamoto's perfumery, and Yohji himself always sparked my interest as a designer and musician. A mysterious personality, isn't he

First you smell honey, then coffee and a little tobacco. It's a gourmand fragrance, but without excessive sweetness. It's not heavy, rather light, like a watercolor. All notes are intertwined in subtle shades, and it's quite well done

I like the brand, but this scent raises doubts. It's definitely feminine, but men could also wear it. The smoky notes and woody accents remind me of something musty, like being in an old cellar with patchouli. It sounds quite monotonous, with only a bit of vanilla appearing at the end. But, unlike most luxury perfumes, it still stands out from the rest 🌟

This fragrance, if we're talking about women, is definitely not for delicate souls. It just screams harshness and assertiveness, as if someone decided women should smell like men. Green notes, wormwood, and some sweetish grass, and tobacco just adds to the aggression. These herbs here aren't for wimps; they're truly wild, strong, not some cute little flowers. Honestly, it feels like someone just didn't think when creating this perfume

I can't wear it in summer, it becomes too much, even after application. It chokes not only me but also people around. Although, despite this, it's still one of my favorites, if you approach the choice correctly 😅

This fragrance doesn't evoke any sense of femininity at all. It's sharp, rough, and too bold. Mainly, I smell tobacco and vanilla with wormwood, but it's hard to distinguish anything else

This fragrance really grabs attention and deserves it in its category. It reminds me a bit of one of my favorite niche perfumes, but honestly, it's too sharp and masculine for me

At first it pissed me off with a sharp tobacco note that hit me in the face with wormwood. But then it opened up and became more tolerable thanks to flowers and vanilla

The fragrance is indeed rich and bright, it grabs attention. On me, it revealed notes of expensive tobacco, with bitter wormwood and warming vanilla, as well as musk. The longevity is simply amazing, and the sillage leaves an impression

At first, the fragrance seemed too sharp and a bit heavy. But then, as it started to unfold, it sounded completely different, very captivating. I can smell tobacco, the bitterness of wormwood, musk, and warm, velvety vanilla ✨

The fragrance is really interesting, the first Yoshi in my collection, and it's completely unique. The consultant at Letual suggested I try it, and I was initially wary. At first, you smell tobacco, so noble and expensive, and then something like rum, wormwood, and musk appears. The longevity is simply amazing, I can still feel it on my hand after 5 hours, I bought it and don't regret it one bit, it's perfect for autumn and early winter. It might suit men too, but it's an acquired taste. I'll definitely look into other Yoshi fragrances. A very unusual smell, in the heat it can smell medicinal, like it 'breaks down', but in cool or rainy weather it sounds simply beautiful. I'll add: the base reminds me of Lancome Tresor à la Folie, the new one, in my opinion. Gourmand, in general, an excellent fragrance! If I could give 10 stars, I'd give them all ⭐️ UPD: I tried the men's version, it didn't appeal to me at all, I know a more affordable alternative that doesn't compromise on quality - Man rules make some noise. Myrrh dominates too much for me in Yoshi, it's present in both. I enjoy wearing the women's version, and I found a replacement for the men's before the Japanese creator even made it 😊

The scent is interesting. It's both restrained and bright at the same time. You can feel bitter herbs and woody notes here. It's like the complete opposite of sweet smells that lure you in like a treat. No playfulness with flowers, just strictness. It's as if you're wearing a strict suit, and underneath it - many bright tattoos. This uniqueness breaks through all boundaries and restraints

Honestly, this fragrance didn't impress me at all. It's definitely not for me. Yes, it has a strong sillage and lasts long, but it's too sharp at the start and then becomes sweet. I didn't notice any citrus or fruity notes, and I don't like those things
