Description of the composition

The scent of Rose unfolds as a layered story, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Yves Rocher comes through from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette supports the right density and pace of development.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Floral with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a inspiring floral mood: Rose. In this format 1 note acts as one voice, building romantic softness that feels seamless.

The middle and base stages are read as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Floral and Whiteflower. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Floral.

Taken together Rose reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.
Sillage
Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This little rose is simply stunning! I don't understand why I ignored it for so long. The scent is fresh and dewy, reminiscent of rose water, but with fruity notes. You can confidently apply it in large amounts - the feeling of cleanliness is just incredible

A spring scent, more like a light hair mist. You can't really call it a true perfume, it smells quite weak, but its subtle notes are still noticeable. It adds a pleasant freshness after a shower
