Right now, there are really many versions of Chanel Chance fragrances on the market: there's Eau Tendre, Eau Fraiche, and the classic Chance. I can't say I'm a huge fan of this brand's perfumes, but I'm familiar with their scents. Some I like, others not so much, and some just didn't work for me at all. The new Eau Vive eau de toilette belongs to the floral woody musk category. When I read the description-top notes: blood orange, grapefruit, and citruses; heart notes: jasmine and white musk; base notes: vetiver, white cedar, and iris-I thought this fragrance should appeal to me. But, unfortunately, it didn't happen. During testing, I didn't detect any citrus, woody, or musky notes. Only jasmine was noticeable, although at first I couldn't tell if it was lily of the valley or jasmine. In nature, I like both scents, but in perfume, they seemed too simple and even a bit intrusive. The fragrance is fresh and summery, that's true, but it didn't suit me. It's absolutely "flat," without depth or a unique twist. Classic Chance, in my opinion, is much more interesting and multifaceted. I can't say I don't recommend this fragrance, as everyone has different tastes and perceptions of scents. But I would advise not to rush into buying it. It's better to spray it on your wrist first and "wear" it for at least a day or evening to understand if it suits you or not
The fragrance is certainly not bad, but when I want something lilac-lily-of-the-valley, I'd prefer to get Dior Diorissimo for the same money. It smells much richer and more interesting, in my opinion. In the beginning, lily-of-the-valley dominates here with a light accent of rhubarb, but then only lily-of-the-valley and tuberose remain. After five or six hours, everything fades completely. I feel like something is missing, and I can't figure out if I like it or not
Rose, like lipstick, with sandalwood - it's just unbearable! The scent is too bright and oppressive. The longevity is there, of course, but it's so intrusive and monotonous that it just makes your ears ache!!
I don't like Montale's Rose Musk scent, but here it surprised me. I fell in love with it at first sniff, and it's a shame I didn't buy it when I had the chance. Now it's impossible to find. It's so light and sparkling, like fresh roses with dew drops, and the musk gives it a certain sterility. I can't figure out if I like it or not 🤔
Apple pie - what a real find! If you adore charlottes and similar sweets, you absolutely have to try it. Of course, it's not really suitable for a night out, but for cozy winter evenings at home - it's just magnificent
The scent is sweetish-fresh, with a light sourness and tartness. The musk, of course, is in abundance here, and because of that, it gets a bit soapy on me. Can't say it's an ideal option, but it's interesting overall
The eau de toilette left me with a feeling of lightness and freedom, not as intense as a perfume. The scent still feels grounded to me, but pleasant at the same time

Honestly, the fragrance is too sweet for me
