On the blotter, I smell iodine, tar, and anise. But on the skin, it's an aniseed pickled apple, like from an old wooden barrel. When I was a kid, we used to have them on the balcony. In autumn, they were put in sweet water with spices and herbs, and then opened closer to New Year's. Outside, they didn't just pickle, they also froze. You had to bring them into the room so you wouldn't get a sore throat. The water that drained out was pretty nasty, to be honest. But it's not here. Instead, there's a feeling of cold, loose pulp, the skin peels off easily, and the taste isn't just sour, but with a slight astringent note. The smell of the barrel itself - damp wood and tar. What kind of magic happens inside this barrel? How does this fragile Antonovka apple survive the long night in its glow? What kind of honey ferments there? And why can't mere mortals drink it

At first, I thought this scent reminded me of thawed milk from an old bottle. Don't laugh, but it has a sort of soapy note, and the bottle itself adds a silicone aftertaste. Then I understood what was really happening. They wanted to create the image of Motoko Kusanagi, but what came out was some Mother from "Raised by Wolves". Both here and there - plastic, vinyl, and metal. And everywhere this white goo. But Mother can at least care for children, both human and alien. And loves them in her own way. In the end, it turns out to be either plastic milk or some kind of artificial skin that is too sensitive. If you overcome this "uncanny valley effect," it seems like you won't find anything purer or more natural. All full of love, as they say. Overall, trying on cyber-skin or relaxing in the arms of a cyber-mommy - that's certainly an interesting experience 😏

Memo isn't for everyone, of course. Many say their musks are just off-putting. But in Lunar Fever, I didn't notice any musks. Instead, there's gorgeous tobacco, leather, woody notes, and some herbs: bitter, fluffy, whitish. Sage, wormwood, verbena with tiny flowers - all of it sparkles in the night, as if the moon is reflected in them. Perfect for full moons. And the vetiver base - that's multilayered, indeed. It's a shame they changed the bottle. The old one with dragonflies was much better. Imagine, you're walking through a hot summer field, and dragonflies and moths flutter around. Somewhere a grasshopper or cicada chirps. Or you're sitting at your dacha, looking into the shade of the garden, and beetles and birds fly by. You light up a pipe and wait for that sleepy mood to set in 😤

I'll stand out from the general flow of opinions. Cold metal, spices, and drops of blood. It's like a potion a sorceress might create, using the menstrual blood of magic-wielding women who enjoyed spiced wine. Wow, what an interesting gingerbread with tangerine. Over time, this prickly coldness fades, and all that remains is a jar of spices, perfect for a gingerbread man: cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. But, considering how long this fragrance lasts, you still have to live to reach that moment

This scent is simply amazing! First, it draws you in with spicy and herbal notes, and I already imagined a cozy yoga studio with soft light. But then - a real explosion! Sweetness and freshness, as if the sun is shining directly on you. Pine branches backlit, and nearby - heavy fig fruits. It's just an incredible experience! It creates a light cocoon around you that stays close to the skin, no more than half a meter. And what's nice, it lasts a long time - a full 6 hours. And if your mood changes, it's easy to wash off 🌟
