To the fragrance: Parfum d'Empire Azemour Les Oranges

I can't believe this fragrance can be considered a modern chypre. It's so well made, it's simply amazing. It's more of a fruity-citrus chypre, but it really smells beautiful and expensive. It struck me from the first sniff, and I emptied almost half the bottle in one go. It reminds me of those perfumes that are long gone, from the eighties. The longevity and sillage are just great. Overall, I was satisfied, but there's a certain bitterness in this pleasure 😔

To the fragrance: Adopt` by Reserve Naturelle Barbe a papa / Candyfloss

The smell is indeed sweet, but it doesn't delight with its naturalness. Vanilla with strawberry syrup, but the feeling is a bit artificial. Sweetness is present but not overwhelming, though, alas, there are hints of chemistry 😕
