Naming fragrances by their main accord is, in my opinion, a rather strange idea. When someone sees the word «rose» on the label, they expect exactly that in the bottle. But then there's Rose 31. It smells of vetiver. Soft, milky, delicate, with velvety cedar and a bright Iso E Super that adds sparkle. There is a floral note, but it only frames the vetiver. The rose, if it appears at all, is in the form of a dried petal. It adds a dusty hue and a light tobacco nuance, blending with the smoky character of vetiver. If it weren't for the name, no one would look for rose in this fragrance. Our sense of smell, of course, looks for what it's told to, but in the end, I only found a cold green-metallic hint of geranium. I never found the rose. If you evaluate the fragrance from the perspective of rose, it's a solid «one» But if you look at it from the perspective of aesthetics, longevity, and sillage, it's a strong «four» - nothing new, but a truly beautiful vetiver ))
