I have many fragrances from Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle on my "Must Try Before I Die" list. Dans Tes Bras is just one of them and my first experience with this brand. For a long time, I couldn't connect with it. The scent, though expensive, reminded me of an old powder compact, and I only liked it as a work of art, nothing more. For several months since the bottle appeared, I never found the right moment to wear it. A year ago, when I was re-reading Oscar Wilde's "De Profundis," everything changed. Dans Tes Bras became an olfactory reflection of this writer for me. The aroma of violets and powder, with notes of pine needles and sweetish frankincense, as if transports you into Wilde's world, surrounded by attention and admiration. But the salty musk accord adds melancholy, as if it's Wilde in prison, having lost everything. These two sides of the fragrance create a complete image of a person whose talent I admire. At that moment, I understood how and when to wear Dans Tes Bras. Despite its old-fashionedness, it sounds modern and relevant. I use it to add elegance to the world around me, and it has never let me down. Perfumer Maurice Roucel from Symrise created the composition based on cashmeran, which unites all these shades: violet, woody, powdery, and coniferous. So, besides my personal attachment, Dans Tes Bras is also an outstanding perfumery work, the likes of which I have not yet encountered, although powdery-violet fragrances are numerous, and cashmeran is one of the most popular ingredients among perfumers
