This fragrance, belonging to the cult collection A*Men, immediately won the hearts of connoisseurs thanks to its unique character, inspired by the world of single malt whiskey.

Pure Malt, which translates as "pure malt," became a standout release in the brand's lineup, launched in 2009 and still relevant today.

Composition of Mugler A*Men Pure Malt

The note pyramid of A*Men Pure Malt is a true journey from freshness to depth, starting with a bright fruity note in the top notes, which creates an intriguing and cheerful start.

In the heart of the fragrance, warm and cozy shades of malt and woody chord unfold, reminiscent of a whiskey barrel aged with vanilla and spicy nuances.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Bought Pure Malt. I'm only 10, but I just adore perfumery! Eau de toilette is my passion, but football is definitely not my thing ))))

Here's another fragrance that suits everyone! It's rich, with intoxicating notes of overripe fruits, sweet and alluring. The longevity is simply impressive, the sillage leaves a delicate trail, yet it doesn't overwhelm those around you 🍏

How drunk it is! Forever young, forever intoxicated. The fragrance is simply amazing! I've always been a fan of alcoholic themes in perfumery. Inside, of course, I don't drink, but on the outside, I just adore it!! A gorgeous scent of aged whiskey, excellent longevity. For winter - just what you need to feel comfortable. I don't detect tobacco, as some people write here, otherwise, I'd immediately blacklist it. Overall, everything about it is excellent: rich, multifaceted, shimmering and playing, simply intoxicating!

tobacco and alcohol - these aren't my favorite scents))) but in this fragrance, they blend so harmoniously with fruity notes that I couldn't resist and sprayed a little on my boyfriend's wrist. he didn't really appreciate it, said it was too sweet. however, as the fragrance develops, it becomes softer and not as cloying as at the beginning

Listen, I tried a scent from a friend… Horrible! The smell reminds me of some alcoholic mix with fish. Very weak, you have to inhale to catch anything, but there's a sillage, of course, and it's nasty. On the third day on clothes, it seems to become more or less acceptable, even beautiful. All in all, it's just a strange stink for those who like exotic stuff in cheap plastic packaging

This certainly sounds appealing. Most likely, it's the sweetness of malt that creates that alcoholic note, and the fruits merely emphasize it. Bright fruity accents are perfectly balanced with delicate spices. The fragrance, though oriental in character, is very comfortable and cozy )

Kentucky. In the middle of a workday at a bourbon distillery, one of the workers suddenly rang the ship's bell, and everyone rushed off to lunch. In the stuffy canteen today, there's dried fruit compote and Three Chocolate cake. That's essentially what this fragrance is about - whiskey, an oak barrel, a pile of dried fruits from grandma's market, and an uplifted mood. It's funny how it echoes Havane, but Malt is a coolness, and Havane is heat, like a Cuban 😒

With this fragrance, I've had a real rollercoaster: from adoration to complete disappointment. It has a lot of dried fruits, malt, and earthy, alcoholic nuances. Maybe the formula changed after L'Oréal took it under its wing. You definitely should try this perfume 💥

I recently gave this to my husband and am now observing how it wears on him. In the top notes, I detect coriander, although it doesn't seem to be in the fragrance pyramid. When the scent opens up, dried fruits come to the forefront - they are very natural, juicy, and delicious. On a man's warm skin, they unfold beautifully without being too sweet. However, I don't sense any notes of alcohol or peat, as island whisky smells completely different. Pure Malt is more reminiscent of the sweet scent of Jameson Black Barrel. The sillage is present, and the longevity is good. I think, like all Mugler fragrances, it becomes more intense over time.

The top notes don't cause aversion, but they don't delight with originality either. At first glance, they seem ordinary, but closer to the base, everything changes: the notes merge into one cocktail, and it becomes difficult to distinguish anything specific. The fragrance is seductive, intoxicating, smooth, and rounded

I can't say I'm a Mugler fan, but the reviews and composition of this fragrance caught my attention. I got a decant and started wearing it. At first, it's too harsh. It hits you right in the nose with green spicy citruses and bubblegum, as if it's alcohol-based. But then it quickly settles down, becomes heavier and even more beautiful. Like a good whiskey ;) Though I barely detect malt. Maybe I just haven't tried enough whiskey in my life ;) The alcoholic notes aren't too bright, rather serving as a background for the fruity-citrus accord. Vanilla and woody notes are clearly audible. Coffee, unfortunately, wasn't added (though I would have liked it), and the musk here isn't too intrusive, doesn't turn sour or smell chemical, it just quietly sits in the background. Unfortunately, longevity isn't all smooth. It opens quickly, the middle is beautiful and rich (patchouli is good here), and then it disappears just as quickly from the skin. It becomes light, as if diluted. Although the main notes remain clear and understandable. The sillage is moderate, pleasant, and quite complimentary. I think it would suit young people quite well. Fruity bubblegum, citruses, and alcohol - a super popular combination ;) Overall, it didn't particularly grab me, although it's well-made, pleasant, and beautiful. But still quite ordinary. In this direction, there are more intense fragrances ;) If someone doesn't need this "intensity," then Pure Malt is an excellent choice. I'll wear it a bit more. Maybe I'll add something to the review later

This fragrance has long been my favorite. A true masterpiece from Mugler, a flanker that is simply magnificent. Fruity notes combined with malt and a light hint of peat create an incredible impression. Its longevity is simply amazing, and the sillage is a separate joy )

The fragrance is really interesting. The woody notes and spices here sound simply excellent, creating a rich atmosphere. Malt adds a certain zest and a light alcoholic touch, which makes it more appealing. Fruits, to be honest, are not so noticeable, but at the beginning, there's a slight wine accent. Overall, it's a rather bright composition that leaves a pleasant impression )

Amen's collection got another interesting fragrance, and this time it delights with warm accents of noble whiskey. If classic perfumes seem too sweet and feminine to a man, then this option will be an excellent choice. It's masculine, smells expensive, and leaves a gorgeous, long-lasting sillage!!!
