To the fragrance:
Amouage Ubar
I can't say I'm thrilled with this fragrance. At first, I thought I'd found something worthwhile, but then disappointment set in. In summer, Ubar simply didn't open up, and now, in September, it seems to be present, but not as I'd hoped. Jasmine, yes, it's there, but it feels like too much of it, and the other notes just get lost. Rose and lily of the valley seem to try to break through, but there's not enough depth. Exotic herbs and fruits? I don't smell them at all. In the end, instead of pleasure, there's only heaviness and dissatisfaction 😒
