Arabie unfolds best on me in rainy weather. In such moments, it fills with a rich prune note that harmoniously combines with bright, appetizing spices. Gradually, they transition into a soft woody base with a light nutmeg hint. In the drydown, warm dried fruits are felt, where dried apricots stand out against the same woody notes. But as soon as the weather turns dry, the prune disappears, leaving only spices and wood. At this point, all that beauty and softness are lost, the scent becomes sharp and hot, like scorching desert air. And it all fades quickly. But in damp weather, Arabie isn't just warm, it becomes languid and deep, as if it's not the same scent I knew! On me, it plays and shimmers for up to eight hours… maybe even longer, but I can't smell it anymore! ))
