To the fragrance: Tom Daxon Fuyu

I admit that the persimmon note in perfumery is a complete disappointment. Maybe it's because these fruits don't really have a scent that could be interesting. In Fuyu, which is called "Persimmon," I also found nothing but nonsense. Tom Daxon's scent reminds me more of the juice of ripe peaches running down your hands when you eat them. Bright, tropical, with a light floral nuance - that's what you really feel. And persimmon? It has nothing to do with it here. In Fuyu, this peachy note eventually turns into something like suede, but it's not persimmon, it's osmanthus. And the suede then fades into powdery musk with iris. A warm, sweetish persimmon scent is just a fantasy, and even in dreams, it doesn't seem convincing. It would be fairer to call it a peach-musk composition
