Filippo Sorcinelli _but not today_
I've developed a rather unusual relationship with Sorcinelli's creations. On one hand, they are true masterpieces of perfumery that are impossible not to appreciate. On the other hand, each of them has a certain degree of darkness. But «But Not Today» was no exception. This fragrance simultaneously frightens and fascinates, drawing you in, yet at the same time pushing you away. Clove takes center stage here, its spicy and rich aroma seemingly cutting through cold metallic notes, revealing something deep and unsettling. The «bloody» undertone of the composition is particularly noteworthy. When it comes to blood in perfumery, Secrétions Magnifiques by ELDO immediately comes to mind - that's where blood truly gushes over the top. In «But Not Today», it's different: here, blood evokes neither fear nor disgust. Honestly, I'm impressed, quite strongly so. However, the usual bottle volume for this brand, in my opinion, is not entirely appropriate - it's unlikely to be used frequently. Sorcinelli's fragrances are more about high art than everyday wear
