To the fragrance: Yardley Chrome

The smell is really long-lasting, but it's somehow too monotonous, lacking variety. It reminds me of something military, like a fragrance for officers. I picture a neat, stern Russian military man who's always on top of things. It's like a more modern version of Soviet aftershave cologne. Overall, it's pleasant and noble, but the feeling that it's too mature and substantial leaves me puzzled. I can't quite say if I like it or not )
