To the fragrance:
Azzaro Azzaro Pour Homme Intense
I haven't come across the 1978 Azzaro pour Homme, but according to Luca Turin, the Intense version is closest to the original. It's clearly richer, more voluminous, and softer in sound than the modern Azzaro pour Homme. The latter sounds flat, less bright, harsher, and drier. Unfortunately, Intense has become a real rarity, not only here but also in foreign online stores. P.S. It has nothing in common with Intense 2015

D.S. & Durga Rose Atlantic
The scent is really pleasant, fresh, and energizing, but unfortunately, the longevity leaves much to be desired. After a couple of hours, you can't feel it at all anymore 😕
To the fragrance:
Amouage Opus XI
It surprises me that almost all opinions about Opus XI describe it as spicy and oudy. If you just spray it on a blotter and wait a couple of minutes, that impression might form. But if you give the fragrance time to develop, it becomes obvious that it resembles leather more. In my opinion, it's the leather notes that dominate here, and they sound very natural and rough
To the fragrance:
Penhaligon's Castile
In my opinion, calling Castile a citrus fragrance is a bit misleading for those unfamiliar with it. There's nothing traditionally citrusy about it, unless you consider orange blossom part of that category. It's done in a retro style, perhaps to emphasize the aristocratic nature of the old English House. The scent is quite simple, yet it's very positive and brings optimism. I don't think young people might be too interested in it
To the fragrance:
Byblos In Black
This is an affordable and softer version of 'Terre d'Hermes', with a light sweetish nuance. If you set aside the thought that it's something secondary, you can notice that the fragrance is actually not bad. And considering its low price, it's a great buying decision 🎉
To the fragrance:
Cuba Paris Gold
The opening of the fragrance is quite sharp, you can smell the alcohol for only a few seconds, and then it becomes similar to something from \"Le Male\" by JPG. It lasts pretty well on the skin, but the sillage, in my opinion, is almost non-existent. Honestly though, for such a price, you shouldn't expect too much 🤔
To the fragrance:
Van Gils Strictly for Men
I believe that Van Gils "Classic" and "Strictly for Men" fragrances are practically the same thing. If you look at the pyramids, they are absolutely identical. On the manufacturer's website, by the way, "Classic" isn't mentioned at all, only "Strictly for Men". And on the packaging and bottles, you won't find these names. It seems they just slightly updated the bottle design, adding gilding at the top and bottom. Otherwise, including the label, everything remained unchanged 😏
