To the fragrance: Jeanne Arthes Sultane Noir Velour

The fragrance is clearly oriental in style, but something's off here. Vanilla is noticeable, even though it's not listed in the composition. Perhaps it's tonka beans with heliotrope mixing so strangely. The bottle looks heavy, but it's not in reality. The scent is soft, too soft for an oriental. It reminds me of a diluted Dior Hypnotic Poison, but not in a good way. I'd say it's more of a daytime option than an evening one, because it's too intimate, only for its owner. I'm giving it one star for longevity - it's just awful. Overall, it smells decent, but only for home or an evening with loved ones. P.S. It doesn't resemble the classic Sultane at all 😒
