In my collection, there are fragrances that, while I like them, don't evoke strong emotions in me. Rather, it's just satisfaction. I get what I want, without surprises or unexpected turns. But, to my surprise, it's precisely these perfumes that receive many compliments from colleagues, friends, and even strangers. Montecristo is one of them. I ordered it blindly, based on the pyramid and reviews. My friend strongly recommended this fragrance, and I, in the end, bought it at a very reasonable price.<br><br>What I expected, I received. This is clearly a masculine fragrance. Woody, tobacco, and leather notes with bright animalistic nuances. The opening of the fragrance is spicy, with tobacco-clove accents and earthy, rum nuances. Very beautiful. Montecristo doesn't lose its richness with development, it doesn't become dusty. It's more a feeling of antiquity, like cold stone walls, but a candle burns in the room, and nearby lies a worn book with spilled spiced alcohol on its page.<br><br>The smokiness of the fragrance harmoniously softens the animalic nature of the hyrax with its scent. The uniqueness of this component is skillfully woven into the overall composition; it doesn't dominate, as in some other fragrances, but merely highlights other notes. Therefore, I can confidently call Montecristo a classic masculine fragrance. It's not something avant-garde, but a comfortable creation with a well-thought-out plot. The components here combine organically. It's not just tobacco, rum, and benzoin, not accents on ecological patchouli or cistus. It's a balanced fragrance that can stand alongside such examples as Gucci Pour Homme 2003.<br><br>I see some similarity between these two fragrances, not just in mood. They seem to be constructed similarly. Tobacco and patchouli become more pronounced as they develop, and the animalic notes
