To the fragrance:
Van Cleef & Arpels Musc de Soie
The name already made it clear it wasn't for me, but I insisted - it's Van Cleef & Arpels after all. One star for the opening only: bitter powder and musk, as if they dug up stale raw materials from grandma's wardrobe. Then in the heart and base it becomes more tolerable. It turns into a perfectly fine honey-waxy musk with powdery cashmere. Still not for me, but on someone else it won't irritate me anymore
To the fragrance:
V Canto Lucrethia
Baked pear with notes of coffee and cocoa, then steeped in bay leaf infusion - sounds interesting. But, to be frank, I don't like the scent of bay leaf. I can still tolerate it in soups, but in perfumery - no 😕
To the fragrance:
Salvatore Ferragamo Bianco di Carrara 2018
This scent is simply awful. The powder, which should be delicate, actually only causes irritation. The floral notes seem too intrusive, and tonka beans and suede add a certain heaviness that presses on the throat. Longevity? Yes, it's long-lasting, but that's not a plus when you want to get rid of this nightmare as quickly as possible. The sillage isn't pleasing either, quite the opposite - it just haunts you. I don't recommend it

Victorio & Lucchino Flores Frescas
Green notes with a slight soapy floral touch. This scent didn't impress me at all. Honestly, it's too boring, even to the point of being dreadful
To the fragrance:
The Body Shop Zinzibar
I can't say exactly what Zanzibar smells like, but this scent of water definitely impresses me. Bright, sparkling ginger combined with citrus and light herbal notes - it's just super! Refreshing and smells incredibly cool 😍
To the fragrance:
Deborah Milano Fantasy Flowers Sky Blue
Although this direction isn't quite for me, I was surprised by how the citruses sound here. They're so dry, without excessive juiciness, and then smoothly transition into fresh powder. No soapy feeling at all, which is very pleasing! 🍊
To the fragrance:
Haute Fragrance Company Red Iceberg
I don't find anything fresh in the pyramid, everything is quite familiar. The name and image subtly hint at another, more famous brand. The design, alas, is disappointing. I appreciate the unusual, but in perfumery, it seems to me, it's inappropriate, even in packaging design. The only exceptions are perhaps Demeter's "toys," but that's a completely different concept. One picture alone can make you recoil before even getting to know the scent )
