The fragrance is truly rich. Rose is clearly in the foreground here, and there are so many nuances that it's overwhelming. Shiseido also has black Zen in perfume, and although they are from the same chypre family, I like it more. Perhaps it's because such a powerful base requires time to appreciate. But, honestly, sometimes I want something else
The scent reminds me of some cloyingly sweet fruit, and the dry down is more like soap, plus the opening is clearly alcoholic. The quality is immediately noticeable, back then, 10-15 years ago, I would have gladly worn it to parties, but now it's not for me 😒
The mimosa is simply stunning, it's so natural that it feels like you're holding a whole bouquet for March 8th, with a few sprigs of greenery hidden within. The scent is soft, slightly tickles the nose, but that only adds to its charm 🌼
The bottle color here is really well chosen. The main focus, of course, is on peonies and roses. The mandarin quickly fades at the beginning, and musk is felt in the base. The scent is simple and pleasant, perfect for everyday wear. It'll be just right for the office, as it's light and not overwhelming
Musky rose, in my opinion, nothing special. You can hear echoes of Mancera's Greedy Rose in it, but honestly, everything sounds quite flat. It lacks depth and interest
Agreed, there's really something here. I also think there's a milky-woody nuance in the scent. It's great for summer days as well as for office work, it feels fresh and light 🌼
What the heck, this is just a find! Tea notes usually don't work for me, but this scent surprised me. It gives such a green freshness, it's just pure bliss. The apples in it seem to turn into dried fruit, and that sounds really interesting. There's a tenderness present, and it really smells solid and mature
