If you don't look at the list of accords, it doesn't smell as frightening as you might think. But if this is what Byredo's African Ball is supposed to smell like, I will be very disappointed. First, some murky herbal infusion, then char and dry smoke.
It feels as if there is an abandoned shrine all around, while someone nearby is burning branches and performing a strange ritual. A dedication 🤪💥🎉 Seriously though, there really is a shamanic nuance here. It's strange that palo santo isn't listed in the pyramid - it is more noticeable here than in Shanti. To be fair, the incense in Shanti is more pleasant. Overall, the scent didn't win me over, although I expected a complete nightmare from the sample and thought the stench would make me curl up 🔥 It turned out to be quite intriguing and perfectly wearable with the right look and mood. But for myself, I would still choose Shanti, it is softer

P.S. After some time, sweat, ash, dirt and some stagnant water started coming through. Now this is the exact nightmare I was waiting for. A very wild scent
This fragrance is simply mesmerizing! I can't get enough of its scent, it brings true pleasure. When I studied its notes, I understood why I like it so much. Citrus is my weakness, and I also read that there's lily of the valley in the heart of the fragrance, which I adore. That's how I became the happy owner of this wonderful bottle with a bee on the cap. Definitely recommend it!
This fragrance is simply amazing! It has become one of my favorites. The citrus notes make it fresh and bright, but not in the usual cologne way. It's exactly that energetic and juicy scent that's perfect for summer 🌞
