For a long, long time, I dreamed of finding a perfume with a beautiful coniferous note. I tried so many things, read tons of reviews about fragrances I couldn't test. In the end, I made a choice and ordered, relying on the opinions of others. I waited a long time for it to arrive, but spring allowed me to be patient, even though its time is autumn and winter. There isn't a drop of cologne or a masculine note in this fragrance. Its coniferous quality is delicate and sweetish, not cloying at all. It blends very softly with vanilla and amber. The amber sounds subtle, without salty undertones. There's no solemnity or audacity in it. It's pure bliss, my way to relax. It unfolds especially beautifully on hair, creating an intimate aura
The fragrance I tried didn't impress me. Ever since it appeared in Russia, I've tried to understand it, but I just couldn't. Fruits and berries in perfumery aren't my thing, and luckily, I don't smell pineapple in the top notes. But the green-floral heart unfolds too quickly and only lasts 3-4 hours. The woody base definitely adds something, but the floral pollen on me looks kind of strange, and the sillage with sandalwood and jasmine isn't pleasing. I didn't notice any soapiness, but there's nothing special about this scent either. A total disappointment
If you love sweet fragrances, this one is worth trying. Rose and patchouli are beautifully combined here, and there's also a faint note of bitter chocolate, although it's not listed. I don't detect cranberry, which I'm happy about, as I don't like when rose mixes with sour notes. The only exception is Rose The One by Dolce&Gabbana, where the tartness adds freshness, not a sense of souring 🌹
This perfume is clearly for those who adore sweet berry and fruity notes. But exactly which berries and fruits, I can't say, it's all blended into one. It feels like there's a bit of this, a bit of that, and even something else. Jasmine, by the way, never bloomed on me, nor did peony. Strange, I can't figure out if I like it or not ))
The fragrance is just incredible! It's fresh and crystal clear, piercing with its sound. The rose here is so delicate and light, there's no heaviness at all. Even though it's an oil, it doesn't leave an oily feeling. A real pleasure! ))
When applied to the skin, Moon Aoud smells strange, like a pharmacy. The consultant said not to do that. This phase drags on; only after about 20 minutes do rose and saffron start to emerge, followed by patchouli and sandalwood. In the end, it certainly smells beautiful, but there's a certain arrogant detachment to this fragrance. If applied to hair, you get a more natural scent of saffron and vetiver. But Moon Aoud reveals itself best when sachets with it are placed in a linen drawer and wardrobe. Then you can smell a languid rose, the freshness of herbs, and the softness of amber. I think for those who love consistent scents, it will be good, especially if it accumulates on clothes
For a quiet evening, whether at home or in a cafe, this fragrance is perfectly fine. It pairs well with coffee and the sweets you order, but it's not overly cloying. Floral notes didn't show up on me at all, and citrus sensations were only present in the first few minutes after application
