Anna Zworykina Perfumes Жасмин и агаро
Wow, this is completely not what I expected from a fragrance named "Jasmine and Agar". I was hoping for something bright, passionate, with strong jasmine and rich agarwood, but what I got was a delicate, almost cool veil. It's like splashes of water from a small jungle waterfall where leaves and flowers hide from each other. Honestly, at first sniff, I was completely bewildered - I imagined our northern meadow, where yarrow blooms and wormwood turns green. Where's the jasmine? Where's the agarwood? Gradually, everything somehow became clearer, and the picture changed. This shows how much our perception depends on the fragrance's name. If it had been called "Tsarskoye Selo Meadows," I might not have strayed from that image. And this highlights how underdeveloped our culture of scent perception is. Fragrances consist of many components, and it's truly complex. The brain selectively chooses what it likes, ignoring everything else. And, honestly, dissecting a fragrance by notes is not an easy task. But then this scent somehow merged with memories of Delibes and his Duet des Fleurs, and there it was - bathing in a stream, jasmine blooming, water flowing, jungle all around "Jasmine and Agar" - well, everything's in place! I suspect it needs humid tropical heat for its full development. I'd love to try it in Vietnam or Cambodia, although perhaps everything there would smell the same during the monsoon

Well, Venice by Yves Rocher is like if gummi bears were bathed in sweet apricot juice. Tender and intrusive at the same time, you want to either wear it or eat it 😅
