Brand «Izod»

Initially, the Izod brand produced men's shirts, ties, and shoes. Since 2003, the brand has been producing women's and children's clothing lines, accessories, sportswear, and denim clothing. The birth of this brand is considered to be an incredible concession by tailor Jack Izod, who was a supplier of men's shirts to the royal court, of his name to the owner of the American sewing company, Vin Dreddy.
In 1952, Dreddy sold the brand to the owner of 50% of Lacoste Alligator shares, after which the Izod brand existed as the IZOD-Lacoste trademark until 1993. Soon, owners Bernard Lacoste and David Crystal diverged in their views: one believed that production should be located in France, while the other insisted on Southeast Asia.
Therefore, since 1995, the IZOD brand has belonged to the Phillips Van Heusen Corporation. In 2008, the Izod brand released an extraordinary fragrance, Izod, created by renowned perfumers Raymond Matts and Annie Buzantian. The fragrance, like IZOD brand clothing, is the epitome of elegant style.
