In 2019, Ex Nihilo introduced Magnetize — a fragrance that's hard to forget. By character, a feminine fragrance drawing from the east and floral families. Conceived and brought to life by perfumer Louise Turner. By character, it falls into the wood group. Created as part of the Sublime Mists collection. Released in fragrant mist.

Description of the composition

The composition of Magnetize unfolds as a layered story, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of Ex Nihilo comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Fragrant mist emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Wood, Green, Floral and Balsamic. The palette also extends to Musk, Gourmet and Whiteflower. Within olfactory families the scent maps to East and Floral.

As soon as the fragrance opens you meet fresh green opening notes: Ambrette and Rose.

At the core of development you sense Patchouli, Rose and Sandalwood carrying a structural woody direction.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Gourmet, Floral, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Amber expand the olfactory volume in the background. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.
