Description of the composition

The composition of Gold Immortals is shaped as an expressive line of development, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Ex Nihilo is clear from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

Right at the start you catch sparkling citrus first notes: Bergamot and Pear. These 2 notes build a sensation of cool purity that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the heart you sense Floral Notes and Peony holding a velvety rose-iris direction.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Fruit with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Musc and Amber add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Fruit, Citrus, Floral and Ambery. The framework further includes Spicy, Musk and Whiteflower.

In summary Gold Immortals reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

I can't say I'm thrilled with Ex Nihilo. Their "narcotic flower" made no impression on me at all. The notes, of course, aren't that many, but as they say, simplicity isn't always good. I wonder what flowers they've masked in their floral notes

From the first accords, something strange, almost medical, is felt, as if you're entering a hospital. Your nose starts to tingle, like you're inhaling the smell of bandages or gloves. Deep down, of course, there's some melody, even a pleasant one, but these initial notes... they clearly aren't pleasing
