Inspiration and Philosophy

Invocation is more than just a brand—it is a profound spiritual project by French-Canadian Luc Bourgeau, known as Blue Eagle.

His philosophy, rooted in the traditions of the Abenaki people, found expression in Invocation Miwah, released in 2015.

The name “Miwah” translates from an Indigenous language as “Vitality”—and this is no coincidence: an actual shaman took part in creating the perfume, gathering herbs, performing rituals, and attuning the fragrance to harmony.

The result is a union of Indigenous traditions and French perfumery craftsmanship, designed not only to smell beautiful but also to bring good fortune, stimulate creativity, and fill you with energy.

Character and Scent Profile

This unisex fragrance belongs to the fougère and woody families. Its very strong sillage makes it distinctive and memorable.

The composition is a complex yet harmonious bouquet: juicy citrus notes of bergamot, lemon, and mandarin intertwine with aromatic herbs—lavender, rosemary, basil, mint, and sage—while woody notes of juniper and red cedar lend it structure.

Soft accents of neroli, vanilla, and tonka bean create a cozy, subtly sweet drydown, while vetiver, oakmoss, and styrax add earthy depth.

The fragrance unfolds in waves, from refreshing greenery to a warm, resinous base.

Who It’s For and When to Wear It

Thanks to its versatility and bold character, Miwah suits confident individuals who are not afraid to stand out.

It is ideal for cool weather, evening occasions, or special moments when you want to emphasize your individuality.

If you enjoy this fragrance, consider similar compositions: Memo Moon Fever, Jacques Fath Green Water, and Jo Malone 154 Cologne—they share the same herbal-woody spirit.
