To the fragrance: Van Cleef & Arpels Orchid Leather

The scent is just awful, so heavy and intrusive. Vanilla completely dominates here, and the spices just overwhelm you. Nothing else is audible, only this cloying sweetness. I can't understand how anyone can wear this

To the fragrance: Carven Variations Eau de Parfum

The fragrance is really very delicate. Oriental, and, in my opinion, it can be compared to Dalissime by Salvador Dalí and Pullover by Sonia Rykiel. By the way, Dalissime reminds me of this fragrance. First, light, unobtrusive fruity notes are felt, and then sandalwood appears in the background and a slight sweetness, rather, such an airy sweetness. After 'The Claw' I expected something else, and it didn't disappoint me, although it didn't make a strong impression, as happens with some perfume masterpieces 😌
