Unfortunately, pepper isn't noticeable in this scent, although I really wanted to feel it. If you love the black pepper note, I recommend trying Black Pepper by Comme des Garçons. At the beginning, spicy lavender sounds, but it seems a bit dry and flat. And the base, in my opinion, is too sweet for a men's fragrance. I'm not against sweetness in men's perfumes, but here it's definitely overkill. A couple of hours after application, the scent is only noticeable close to the skin, and only a sweetish trace remains. In the end, this perfume turned out not to be very interesting for me

I tried this fragrance in the store. Honestly, for that price, I expected something more original. I don't detect Xerjoff at all here. Too sweet and light, in my opinion. Berries and flowers right in your face, and vanilla, it seems, just a tiny bit. I didn't catch any sandalwood or amber at all. I was expecting something more captivating. I prefer heavier scents, so maybe this just isn't for me. But, perhaps, someone else might like it. I can see it on some young student or schoolgirl)))

At first, I felt like I was wearing Wrigley's chewing gum and some strange drink, like Root beer. Probably due to the aldehydes. After a couple of hours, everything changes beyond recognition: floral notes start to dominate, and I mostly pick up jasmine. In the end, a smell like cheap cosmetics remains on the skin. This scent is definitely not for me, but perhaps lovers of classics might enjoy it

The perfume I discovered is simply amazing. It's full of mysteries and enchantment. For me, it's not heavy at all, quite the opposite, very pleasant. I would gladly wear it anytime: at work, where colleagues even noted its delicacy, for evening events, and even before bed. This fragrance evokes images of a night forest after rain. Here, you feel the freshness of the earth, decaying leaves, and fragrant herbs. Somewhere in this forest hides a rare black flower with a subtle, delicate scent. And nearby, an old temple from which a light aroma of incense wafts. This is truly a scent of tranquility and harmony with nature and oneself. As for Maremma and Cuir de Nuit, they have something in common, but Maremma seems too quiet and sweetish, and Cuir de Nuit lacks the truffle note, which makes it less interesting, and the quality isn't top-notch either. For me, Black Orchid is the best choice. My husband uses Xerjoff Regio, and they complement each other perfectly. Although the fragrances are different, they are still in the same style. If you like Black Orchid, definitely try Regio 🌸
