Patricia de Nicolay is not just an outstanding perfumer, but also a true guardian of family traditions and an innovator in one person. Born on December 5, 1957, in Paris into the legendary Guerlain family and niece of Jean-Paul Guerlain himself, she was immersed in the world of fragrances from childhood. However, her path to fame was paved not only by her name, but also by her own talent and diligence. After receiving a thorough education in chemistry and graduating from the prestigious ISIPCA perfume school, she began her career at major companies such as Florasynth and Quest International, where she honed her skills.

Creating her own brand and unique style

In 1989, together with her husband Jean-Louis Michot, Patricia took a bold step by founding the independent house Nicolai Parfumeur Createur. This act was a declaration of her creative freedom. Her signature style is an exquisite balance between classic French elegance and modern dynamism. She masterfully reinterprets traditional accords, whether luxurious floral bouquets, languid oriental compositions, or brutal leather notes, infusing them with unexpected freshness and vivid individuality.
