Amandine Claire-Marie is one of the most sought-after perfumers of our time, whose name has become synonymous with exquisite and emotional fragrances for the world's leading brands. Her career at the Firmenich perfume house has been marked by the creation of iconic compositions that have captured the hearts of millions of connoisseurs around the world. Her journey is a story of dedication to the art of fragrance, beginning with a childhood spent in an atmosphere where perfume chords reigned supreme.
Growing up in a family closely linked to the world of perfumery (her mother worked at Givaudan), Amandine was immersed in this universe from a young age. After two years of studying chemistry, she enrolled at the legendary ISIPCA school, which was the first decisive step towards the profession of "nose". Her career launch took place at Robertet, where fate brought her together with master craftsman Michel Almerac, who became her mentor and collaborator in future projects.
Claire-Marie's early work, such as Kenneth Cole - Black For Her, Rochas - LUI and Van Gils - VG V, was released in the early 2000s and immediately caught the attention of the industry. Her talent blossomed into niche projects for Jovoy Paris ( Boise, Oriental and Chypre fragrances) and the exquisite MDCI Parfums - Peche Cardinal. The turning point was 2008, when she co-created the phenomenally successful Chloé fragrance - Chloé - in collaboration with Almerac, which became a new classic.
In 2011, after joining Firmenich, Amandine Claire-Marie reached a new level. She created the iconic fragrances for Yves Saint Laurent: the sensual Splendid Wood and the elegant Trench. Her portfolio was expanded with work for Lancôme, where she contributed to the legendary La Nuit Trésor series, including versions of A La Folie and Diamant Blanc. The perfumer also successfully collaborated with Mugler, creating the Angel Eau de Toilette flanker and co-creating the high-profile 2017 novelty, the hypnotic Aura.
Amandine Clair-Marie's style is a masterful combination of sensuality, freshness and complex structure. She works masterfully with floral, woody and oriental accords, as evident in her solo work for Sisley, the luxurious rose Izia. Her recent triumphs include the passionate Valentino - Voce Viva, the fiery Givenchy - Enflammé and the exquisite Trussardi - Behind The Curtain Piazza Alla Scala. Her creations for Yves Rocher, Kenzo, Salvatore Ferragamo and L`Occitane en Provence demonstrate the incredible versatility of her talent.
Amandine Clair-Marie continues to define the face of modern perfumery, creating perfumes that become bestsellers and adored by a community of connoisseurs. From the lush tropical notes of Yves Rocher - Tropicale Tentation to the seductive trail of Cuir de Nuit, each of her fragrances tells a unique story. Her works, recognized by experts and amateurs alike, rank high in ratings and garner rave reviews, confirming her status as a true master of her craft.
