Acqua di Parma Colonia: A Shining Symbol of Italian Style

Imagine a sunny day in Italy, where every moment is filled with joy and grace—this is the feeling that Acqua di Parma Colonia, released in 1916, offers.

This fragrance, part of the Colonia Collection, has become a benchmark of dolce vita, embodying the elegance and lightness characteristic of the Italian way of life.

Since its debut, it has won the hearts of those who appreciate timeless perfumes with a rich history.

Universal Elegance for Everyone

Classified as unisex and belonging to the Citrus and Fougère families, Colonia offers versatility for any occasion.

Its medium sillage ensures a subtle presence, perfect for the office, a date, or outdoor relaxation.

As an eau de cologne, it has a refreshing formula that invigorates the senses without being overwhelming.

Scent Development: From Freshness to Warmth

From the first spray, Colonia envelops you in a bright burst of citrus notes, creating a sense of pure energy and vitality.

As the fragrance develops on the skin, green nuances of lavender emerge in the heart of the composition, adding herbal freshness and harmony.

In the dry down, warm bases of sandalwood and musk anchor the scent, providing longevity and comfort that last throughout the day.

For Whom and How to Wear This Masterpiece

Acqua di Parma Colonia is the perfect choice for those seeking a fragrance suitable for warm seasons: spring, summer, and early autumn.

Its unisex character makes it a favorite among both women and men who aspire to elegance without gender boundaries.

For optimal effect, we recommend applying it to clean skin after a shower, allowing the notes to unfold naturally.

Thanks to its medium sillage, it doesn't require frequent reapplication—just 2-3 sprays are enough to enjoy it from morning to evening.

If you're exploring similar fragrances, consider Zara Bohemian Bluebells, Loewe Esencia, and The Body Shop Atlas Mountain Rose.

These perfumes also play with freshness and floral accents, offering alternative options for your collection.

A Legacy Inspiring Generations

Created in an era when perfumery was becoming an art, Acqua di Parma Colonia not only solidified the brand's reputation as a symbol of Italian sophistication but also influenced the creation of many citrus fragrances in the industry.

Its ability to blend classic notes with contemporary relevance makes it an eternal icon that continues to be discovered by new admirers.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The scent is truly impressive. First, you feel a powerful citrus burst, and then lavender joins in. In the end, it stays close to the skin for 3-4 hours, reminiscent of an expensive cream or soap. On hair, it lasts more than a day, also close to the skin. This smell takes me on a journey... to Italy! 🌸

This cologne was released in 1916, so what? It's refreshing, sure, but not enough to transport you straight to lemon groves. I've been wearing it for the second day, and what do I see? Metamorphoses, yes, but not all that surprising. Yesterday it was musk, and this morning - pure cleanliness, like fresh out of the shower. A minute ago, my wrist smelled of rose. So what now? It's like you never know what to expect

The Italian cologne is simply magnificent. Citrus notes and lavender give it freshness, creating an atmosphere of purity. I really like how natural it smells. This is a true classic that everyone should have. On men's skin, it doesn't unfold as brightly, but it's also suitable for women. It's simply essential to take it on a trip or journey, it will become an indispensable companion ✈️

The scent is truly rich and full-bodied. You can feel its multifaceted nature, especially the vetiver, which leaves a deep impression. Sometimes another perfume from Acqua Di Parma comes to mind, but it's not the same anymore. It's like something is gone, and you can't get it back. The fragrance is definitely cool, but there's something sad about it that makes you think about what's lost
