Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Everlasting Dream unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Alexander McQueen is clear in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum sets the depth and body this composition needs.

The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Balsamic, Wood, Marine and Mineral forming a compact and readable structure. The gender direction is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

Without strict stage separation the fragrance opens as a single chord with a deep balsamic mood: Immortelle, Marine accord, Minerals and Wet Wood.

The deeper layers are felt as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Aquatic, Balsamic, Mineral and Wood. It also reaches into Aromatic, Floral and Whiteflower. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Aromatic, Floral and Wood.

In summary Everlasting Dream reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Persistence
High (5 to 12 hours)
4
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Noticeable

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The heather moor is silent, only fog and a light dampness all around. Shrub branches stir quietly, and in the distance, city sounds can be heard. The atmosphere here is a bit sad, but at the same time, it makes you think. Damp grasses and roots, hidden in the fog, create a special mood

This perfume is complete shit, to be honest. Mineral-woody, with some grassy note that's just annoying. Reminds me of Eau des Merveilles Bleue by Hermès, Beach Hut Woman by Amouage and, of course, Dune Road by MiN New York. Especially with the last one, it's a bit too similar. No sillage, but the longevity is generally tolerable

The smell of the sea, but not warm, rather cold. Scotland, yes, exactly like that. Summer days on the Baltic Sea aren't much better: sand, wet branches, seashells, nearby pines, and stones that are just annoying. All this combination only brings sadness and dislike 😒
